Water and Sewer

Authority of Cabarrus County, City of Kannapolis, North Carolina

Contract 25 1996 Sewer Improvements
Design/Analysis and modeling of approximately 10,400 LF of 8” sanitary sewer, erosion control and permitting were included in this project.

Afton Run Outfall
Design/analysis and modeling of approximately 13,000 LF of 15”-18” sanitary sewer outfall, erosion control and permitting were included in this project.

Coddle Creek Outfall
Design/analysis and modeling of approximately 15,000 LF of 27” sanitary sewer outfall, erosion control and permitting were included in this project.

Hearthstone Subdivision Trunk and Street Main Sewers

Charlotte, North Carolina

Project Engineer with full responsibility for design of approximately 1000 LF of 8” Sanitary Sewer to replace septic systems in an existing residential subdivision. Design responsibilities included coordination with regulatory agency, routing of sewer, coordination of survey information, design documents and calculations including erosion control, sewer design, NCDOT encroachment maps and permits.

16” Water Main and Well #4

Harrisburg, North Carolina

Project Engineer with responsibility for design of approx. 4000 LF of 16” Water Main to serve the existing community and proposed Fire Station. Well #4 will tie into the 16” Water Main allowing the Town of Harrisburg to begin providing water to their community without relying on outside sources. The Design responsibilities included, routing of water line, coordination of survey information, design documents and calculations including erosion control.

Bivens Street 6” Waterline Replacement

Wingate, North Carolina

Project Engineer responsible for design of 1240 LF of 6” PVC Waterline to replace an existing AC line and 550 LF of 2” PVC Waterline to replace an existing 2” Galvanized line. The Design responsibilities included, routing of water line, coordination of survey information, design documents.

Eagle Lake Water System

Charlotte, North Carolina

Project Engineer responsible for construction plans for a new water system for Eagle Lake Fishing Club Community replacing the existing well feed system with one that is served by Charlotte Mecklenburg Utilities.

Gable Oaks Subdivision

Cabarrus County, North Carolina

Sixty-five lot site development project for Phase III of Gable Oaks Subdivision. Included grading and erosion control, stormwater design/analysis and modeling, roadway design and modeling, sanitary sewer design/analysis and modeling, and water distribution design.

Roberta Woods Subdivision – Phases I & II

Cabarrus County, North Carolina

Sixty-six lot site development project for Phases I & II of Roberta Woods Subdivision.  Project included grading and erosion control, stormwater design/analysis and modeling, roadway design and modeling, sanitary sewer design/analysis and modeling, and water distribution design.

Riverpointe Subdivision

Kannapolis, North Carolina

Project engineer responsible for site/civil drawings and agency approvals for Phase 1 of an 850 lot residential subdivision. Design includes mass grading, storm drainage, erosion control, road design and 100-year flood study for main road creek crossing. Submittal packages were prepared for the Town of Kannapolis and NCDOT for site layout, storm drainage, water and sewer, and driveway/entrance permits for approval.

Yellow Bluff Subdivision

Jacksonville, Florida

Project engineer responsible for site/civil drawings and agency approvals for a 680 lot residential subdivision. Design includes mass grading, fine grading of lots, storm drainage, erosion control, road design, water and sewer design, and eight wet ponds interconnected to function as one system for retention/detention purposes. Road improvements to the existing city and state roads including storm drainage and turn lanes were designed to meet ingress/egress requirements for the proposed traffic increase by the subdivision. Submittal packages were prepared for the St. John’s River Water Management District – SJRWMD, City of Jacksonville, Jacksonville Electric Authority -JEA (Electric, water and sewer submittals) and FDOT for site layout, storm drainage, water and sewer, offsite utility and driveway/entrance permits for approval
